Maria’s breadth of experience is exceptional and she has the educational qualifications to match, holding a degree in economics, a Masters in Social Work and is also an IATA certified Travel and Tourism professional (TTP). Before joining Avant, Maria was working with Air India in various capacities, eventually rising to Assistant Manager in Human Resources and Customer Handling. Since joining Avant, at its inception, Maria has been instrumental in making it run the way it does today. Now into here eighth year here, her leadership and management skills have made her the number one in her area and she is responsible for Human Resources across the entire organisation. In her spare time, Maria loves to read, listen to music and enjoys cooking.
