Avant received European Award for Best Practices in Brussels

Avant Communication received the European Award for Best Practices in the gold category in Brussels. The company received this major international award in recognition of its quality standards. Chairman and CEO, Antonio Varghese, and International Business Development Manager, Philip Mazloumian, made their way to the Belgian capital to collect the honours.

International Star Quality Award

Avant Communication was lauded with the International Star Award for Quality in the gold category by Business Initiative Directions (B.I.D) at the B.I.D. International Quality Convention in Geneva. Winners were selected based on their commitment and contribution to excellence, innovation, technology, leadership, management and quality within their various sectors of operation. Brand equity and business results were also taken into consideration.

Emirates Energy Star Launch 2011

Etisalat and Pacific Controls announced their partnership aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of the UAE by up to 30%. The event, held under the patronage of H. E. Dr. Rashid Ahmed Mohammed Bin Fahad, Minister of Environment and Water, rolled out at the prestigious Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi. Top officials from government and Etisalat attended, along with key decision makers in the commercial and residential sectors.

Green Dubai World Forum 2008

The Green Dubai World Forum 2008 united key decision makers from around the world at The Atlantis Hotel, Dubai to discuss sustainability and environmental problems, and to find possible solutions. The two-day forum held under the patronage of H. H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was attended by Mr. F.W. De Klerk, Nobel Prize winner and former President of South Africa, where he addressed delegates.

Opening Ceremony of Pacific Controls 2007

When Pacific Controls launched its Dubai headquarters it became the first LEED Platinum rated green building in the Middle East and only the sixteenth of its kind in the world. The building was inaugurated by H.E. Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs of the Federal Government of the United Arab Emirates and Executive Chairman of Dubai Holding. The event was attended by senior officials and dignitaries and confirmed Pacific Controls’ commitment to sustainable development.
